Got my sleeve, piston and clutch basket yesterday,How easy/hard is it to install the sleeve?I could get it done for free here, but I'm not sure if I should trust my buddy to do it right,He says he did it on a Honda 350 Quad but I'm just wondering,Can the sleeve change shape during installation?will the std piston be a sure fit?How much work is required on the edges on the ports,I got one company in B.C. who will do it for $175.00.What to do?

Would that be, Mongoose?
If ya want to send it to someone good at reasonable price in B.C. , I can get a phone number of a local guy who is very good and way better price

To my knowlage, the factory sleeve has "lugs" on it, and is cast in position. It must be machined away, and cannot be pressed out.
Then the new sleeve is pressed in.
The cost of the machine work + the sleeve itself is very close to the cost of the entire jug, which is what I suggested in the first place.
Aligning the ports can be tricky. You only want ot press it in once.
Good luck.

Its an '86, they don't make a new jug for those anymore.

Wiseco changed their design. Evereyone suspects its a cost savings through less machine time type situation.

I wouldn't pay more than $100 (USD) for the work.

His name is wally, his number is 604-532-1021, he's a good guy does all his own work unlike some places that just give it to the $7 hour kid in the back. I don't need to tell you who that place is do I? Tell him the CR500 guy in Langley sent ya, he should know who that is. I'm about 20 min. from him.
