When I came down stairs this morning for coffee my Dads first question was if I knew what happened on this day. Good thing I remembered or I wouldn't have had breakfast. Dad has always done this, he knows all the history and makes sure that I know as well.
What I wonder is how many people make sure that there kids are aware of these things? Most people my age and younger seem to be forgetting to tell there kids about our history and I see it as a downward trend.
I don't see things getting any better as this video game generation gets older .

Just asked my Daughter the same question. We had to tell her. Schools are doin a good job!
