AMC engine

I just finished this 401 AMC for a '73 AMX, figured its odd enough to post
My good friend has a 72 Javelin SST 360 4spd. We affectionately call it the BatMobile. It's a # matching car with black buckets and interior. I remember we had like five big guys in that car and when we took off from the lights there was nothing but tire smoke and gear shifting lane changes until we hit fourth with 9'' of rubber. When we tore down the motor a year later the water jackets in the last pair of cylinders were solid,all the plugs were toast, almost half the rings were siezed and there were 3 bent push rods. Even the cam had worn through the bearings and was into the block.
That car would still wax my 88 5L 5spd and it wasn't exactly stock.
