IHBA Boat Drags

Went to the World Finals in Phoenix, AZ last weekend with my friend Mark Porter. Its a Monster Energy Drink sponsored Top Alcohol Flat. This boat has a Brad Anderson Engineering Hemi based motor. The motor came out of a NHRA's 07/08 Champions alcohol funny car, It makes 4,000HP. We made some okay qualifying passes in the 7.60's. We got in to Sunday's show to red light first round and run our best pass of the weekend 7.20 @ 147mph. Here are a few pics making some passes.
A few pic's of the boat they called Tequila Sunrise. He crashed at the big end estimated speed 240mph. The driver was taken to the hospital coherent, x-rays showed broken back in 7 places and a broken wrist. So I'm sure he could use a few Hoon prayers.
