Until a few days ago, Britain was admired and respected by the average Icelander. But the UK's moves to seize the assets of this isolated European state have provoked a backlash of feeling and escalating resentment.

"They treated us like terrorists."
You wouldn't like him when he's angry

Talk to the people, the government, the media, in fact anybody in Iceland, and that is the overwhelming feeling about Britain these days.

The collapse of Iceland's banking system - one in which many Britons had a stake - is the reason for this resentment.

In a bid to claw back some of the money, the British government seized Icelandic assets in the UK under the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001. The die was cast. Your average Icelander draws the line at being called a terrorist.

I'd have to side with the Icelanders on this one. The complete seizure of bank assets has destroyed all of Icleands biggest banks and now the IMF (NW0) will step in and drag the country down further. Now I know that Icelandic bankers were over leveraged but so was everyone else. And what the hell does Iceland have to do with Terrorism? What a joke.

The whole world wide banking system is a shame,it was all done on purpose.

Go to a mathmatically perfected economy to understand what they have done and how to solve it but remember fiat currencies( COUNTERFEIT CURRENCIES) always fail because of fraud.

Just like its happening again. :?

I was just reading a chapter from Jim Mars' book tonight, "Rule by Secretcy" p64-71, how central banks were trying to come about in the early 1800's, even before then Jefferson and Hamilton agured fearcly over it. After 20 years they would fail. It took them another 80 to dumb down americans enough to get them sold on the idea. The federal Reveure System today is still unconstitutional in/by nature.
