well as you all know i completely rebuilt my motor and powdercoated the cases. it has been leaking a little as it sit on the bench. i think it is leaking from the center gasket. i really didnt clean the mating surface that well obviously. my question is the motor has been filled with oil since it has been rebuilt and it has lost about 1/4 in a few months. when the motor runs is there pressure that will cause it to leak more? i can live with a little leak but if it pressurizes it will leak good i think. thoughts?

If its leaking outside it could be leaking into the crank, I would strip it and fix the problem.

yep i agree. i found the problem. luckly it was an easy fix.

when i powdercoated the cases it did so without a drain plug in. i used a new bolt and washer for install. snugged it and filled with oil. i guess i didnt tighted it enough to seal the new washer on the powdercoating. she is good to go now. damm lucky i didnt wanta tear that fucker apart. haha but i was prepared to. do it right or dont do it at all.
