Yesterday I swapped bikes with a guy and chased him on his RM250. While admiring the sound of my 500's exhaust and thinking to myself how large the rear tire was, he force fed me copius amounts of earth...with my own bike. I haven't been roosted like that in so long I forgot what dirt tasted like.

My brother once caught a huge piece of almost-rock-hard caliche fom my 500. He said he saw it coming and moved his head out of the way only to have it slam into his collarbone and explode. For some reason he wasnt wearing his chest protector that day. It ended his riding for the day and left an egg-sized bump on him for a few days.
The biggest, biggest thing I worry about is my 12 yr old son getting nailed hard. Two weeks ago he said a good sized rock caught him in the goggles. I was about 40 feet in front of him.

I was riding behind MFDB (when he still rode his 500) out at apex and we were climbing this almost verticle lime stone cliff face when all of a sudded his tire breaks off a shoe box sized peice of limestone the flew right over my right shoulder

that was scarry!

Ive had a rock hit my front numberplate so hard it cracked it in two.
I also got hit in the shoulder by a fist sized rock kicked up by a guy on a rhino, I bought a chest protestor the next day

I've been told that no one likes to ride behind me because...
"Shit falls from the sky for 10 minutes after you've gone by. It doesn't matter what bike you're on."

I dont either....at least not on purpose. The only time I roost friends on purpose is if one of them falls while we're skiing. Then it's fair game !!!

In Pittsburgh I got blasted with what felt like 900 pounds worth of mud. I should've taken a picture of my bike afterward, being the slow new guy at the back, I got more than my fair share of wet, nasty, stinky dirt all over me. I waited a couple weeks before cleaning my helmet off and it actually lifted the paint up in some spots.

I got caught by some Alessi 800 roost a few months ago in Talledaga turn in Glen Helen. I saw it coming so missed most of it but what got me still hurt.
I had to get Brit while at Pismo. Asks what was that for. General purpose.

Think I got Bob too. Sorry Bob.
