ya, yesterday I went and looked at a hammered '87 the guy wouldn't budge from $900, so I said "good luck, it will never sell"
I offered $500.
I'll see what this guy wants for the motor and waht year it is.

bought it! nearly complete '89 bike for $400. chassis is a little hammered, but the motor is clean, just needs a clutch and CDI. pipe was missing, but the kid gave me a super clean '85-'88 pipe with it that I'm gonna sell.
and when I say "kid" I mean it, he must have been 10-11 years old!

hehe, ya, the kid has a super clean '86 that he mobs on!
the kids dad must have some serious life insurance on the kid or something!
I felt bad for them and could have got the bike for cheaper, but they had a foreclosure notice on their gate and he said they had to get rid of a lot of shit RIGHT NOW!
thats the shit! kids selling dirtbikes because of a shitty housing market caused by greedy banks that the stupid fed is bailing out... makes me MAD!
