Just kidding, I paid for it. :D I got a Toyota Dolphin for 3800 bucks. It's very cool with everything needed to camp out in comfort. Sure beats sleeping in a tent with goggles on during a sand storm. :D It's an 86 4cylinder auto, everything works, 90,000 original miles. Shower, toilet, sinks, stove, oven, 3 way fridge/freezer, lots of storage, 5000 watt Honda generator, cold ac in cab, cold ac in camper, etc.. It needs a tow hitch for my little 4x8 trailer that I haul my bikes on, so I'm gonna get that ball rolling right away. See you folks in the dunes!

Yea cheap on gas, insurance, parts, and purchase price. I looked at a few different types of motorhomes and this one was the best bet for me. I looked at a class A 31 foot beast witha 454, frick that. Insurance was bucks, gas milege was horrible like 5mpg, and the thing needed all sorts of expensive parts for repair and regular mantainence. Then the van conversions I saw where expensive unless they were old and ugly. I looked at two different Dolphins and this one was the best one. It won't win any drag races but I can get 15mpg and if it needs any engine or drivetrain work, those old Yotas are very cheap and easy to find parts for.

Man, I have looked at alot of those, but they sure as hell are alot more than that around here. But every one I have talked too said they get 22 mpg. Pretty damn good find. Keep it up.

Sorry no pics yet, soon. I got the treatment from a trailer place saying they won't put a hitch on it so I went ahead and bought a 119 dollar ford/chevy/whatever universal Reese hitch from Autozone. It took me all damn day but got it figured out and mounted, and it's solid as a rock. Just bought the 5 wire to 4 flat converter, need to get it wired up but it's flippin raining a ton right now. The trailer place said they wouldn't do the hitch because the extended frame was not suitable, bull shit, it's strong as hell. But I am going to bolt some additional plate to the frame rails on both sides where the frame was extended by the Dolphin company for my own peace of mind. I'm loving this little rig, it gets great milege and hauls all my dogs around. Plus it drives like a normal size truck only with a toilet and a frige full of beers and sodas. :D
