Question about Pipe and Silencer combo

Well I've got a 95 cr500 rolling chasis with an 89 motor and pipe. Now I just put the motor in tonight but havent put the pipe on. Will the pipe fit on this year chasis and what year silencer will fit, Im scoping ebay right now for one. THanks.

The motor will fit any year bike. The chassis is the only dif. As long as its not the type of exhaust on the early 80's bikes that would burn your leg most will fit just fine.

Thanks, looks like I need a 91+ silencer, no big deal.

Yeah not sure what the dif is but its prolly pretty minor...
89-up for the pipe
91-up for the muffler
I "think" the 89-90 mufflers were the old style subframe or something weird like that...Cycle Gear runs CHEAP specials from time to time on exhaust. I got a brand new Gnarly for $99 2 different times...

the '89-'90 silencer is way different, but yes, the pipe from 89+ will interchange.
Justin... don't I have BOTH of those pipes now?
