Honda OEM radiators.....

....actually suck. Especailly around the subtanks and the tubes for the hoses. :x Finally found the other leak by the upper tube coming out. I don't know what there process is assembling one of these. Obviously low budget. Please don't tell me China. :m16:

Well you have a point. They're weak especially where the connectors are. Those fittings are barely attached - I'd say they were sweat fit like copper fittings are to one another.

No, but failed rads are not caused by heat, but by chemical reactions...

I think the Honda OEM rads are some of the best available.

I've only seen them fail from two methods...

Vibration ( bad crank bearings)

Corrosion ( bad chemical composition in the coolant)

It is a failure to stay upright. Which often causes Rad failure. Dual Failure :lol: :lol:

Also to note, I picked up a new one today, Gee how come the tanks have welds on them now. :idea: Now if they just did the tubes coming out it would top notch.
