I rode most of the course for this yesterday after work. No, I don't plan to compete. I only needed 2 hours (14 miles) to get my butt stomped. I can't even fathom 24. The Ultra Ironmen have my utmost respect.
Nasty stuff. Should be hella fun. I got some really good helmet cam footage of it. I'll post some once I get it edited.

You need a good ButtStompin!
That's the place. You thought the other places gave you a good stompin? This place can do it in half the time. Rode for two hours yesterday in the wet slippery. I was exhausted.

I never called it $h!t riding. Those guys are Iron men too, And why would I plan a Dove Springs ride? and do the family thing on Thanks-Giving.
