I've just bought my first CR500!!!
After reading through these pages, I bought a CRF250 to build up as a 500, and before I could find a decent CR500 donor, along came a complete bike. CRF250, 2004 frame with a 500 lump already in. I collected it a couple of weeks ago and got the forks serviced and revalved at MH Racing, and bought an Ohlins rear shock whilst I was there. Talons etc.
The bike is a little rough but the basis of a great toy are all there.
As yet I haven't had a weekend off work too go ride my new toy, but fingers crossed I'll get out sometime this week. Pics to follow, as soon as I work out how to post them up.
