In highschool I had my mom buy me a keg of sierra nevada and no one at the party wanted to drink it because it wasn't bud or coors light! I was pissed, like me and 3 other guys tried to take it down...I ended up driving hom in the morning with a tapped keg in the back seat still really drunk. Of coarse the whole party was full of tough guy marines...pussies!
stone berwery makes some damn good stuff, I love the arrogant bastard ale when I can't fine any steel reserve to get me HAMMERED!

I hear ya on not everyone wanting to drink Sierra Neveda, definetly not a chugging beer. It saves me allot of money because I have a few moochy friends that only wanna drink Coors and never bring any. Now you know a Marine that ain't a pussy and is an Arrogant Bastard ( you are what you drink).dannygraves wrote:hellz yeah!pimp559 wrote:Sierra Nevada or Arrogant Bastard

Wedensdays is 1/2 priced everything at pt's.. I had 8 or 9 22oz budlights and a meal for 25 bucks well 35 if you count the tip That is the equivilant to just short of an 18 pack hehe.. Draft tastes much better than cans though especially when the mugs are so frozen that the beer freezes inside the mug and you get beercicles

I have been drinking Schlafly Hefeweizen lately. It's a St. Louis brewery that is owned by Americans, unlike that other brewery in town.

I have found the ultimate in beer! A lot of the guys around here really dig the Stella Artois...meh....its alright. I cant stand it since I have discovered 3 really top notch brews.
The 1st is my favorite Belgain and 8.5% alc....Duvel! Its a WW1 victory beer. Duvel means "Devil." Thats about right. Its so damned drinkable and smooth that it catches up to you and beats your ass before you know it. Thats not the point....the ass beating....the taste is phenomenal! I buy it in the 750ml bottles....$10 a pop.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brouwerij_Duvel_Moortgat
A very happy and tanked me in New Zealand...too much Duvel..
The next is a Canadian beer, La Fin Du Monde. Its is a triple fermented ale and is exceptionally smooth at 9% alc. Awesome taste! If you can find it, try it! I get it in the 750ml bottles, $8 a pop.
http://www.unibroue.com/products/fin.cfm
Lastly, Hofbrau Original. The is a kick ass Oktoberfest Beer, nice taste and good price. You cant go wrong with it!!!

Funny, all those Stella Artois drinkers...do not drink Stella anymore since I introduced them to my top 3 list. They are buying up all the Duvel, La Fin Du Monde and Hofbrau.
I get the shit kicked out of me at work...I stay very busy! I am gearing up for my second trip to Kuwait in under a year. When I am not playing with my kids and spending quality time with the wife. I want to drink a really good beer. I think I have earned it....
For all those Bud/Coors/MGD drinkers....well.....shitty beers need drinkin as much as fat chicks need loving too....
Cheers!

Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing their idiot.......
To any Aussies or Kiwis here (not sure which place it was from) - What ever happened to Steinlager? I really enjoyed that beer but it seems like it disappered in the late '90s / early 2000s.

The only beverage you can order in Canada, and the barkeep instantly says.......
"Oh, so you're from Saskatchewan, eh?"

Did they stop importing it to the US? It used to be on the shelf at the local grocery store and now I can't find it even in the better liquor stores around town.Rosco-Peeko wrote:Its still there and is a fine beer...jbird_710 wrote:To any Aussies or Kiwis here (not sure which place it was from) - What ever happened to Steinlager? This is a good beer, it sucks you cannot get it on the west coast. A lot of the GI's get loaded up on this before heading across the pond to the beerless sandbox. The port/Baltimore has it....

If you dig dark beers, try Ayinger Dunkel. A few years back, Ayinger was voted one of the top beers in Germany.dannygraves wrote:dude, go to yard house and get a glass of this stuff, I'm serious, its really good dark beer!
