Cr250 Stator Cover??

Does anyone know if the stator cover from a Cr250 will fit the 500?? I am using a 92 motor and have stripped the cases and I want a gray stator cover to match. Anybody done this, the 250 covers just seem to be a lot cheaper.

My '04's ignition cover was way different than the 500. Not sure if an older one will work though.

Well I'm not at home but I could check my 94 250. Seems to me they look the same. I'll have an answer tomorrow.

I'll check my 01 250 cover to my 92 500 and let ya know as well...

In a word no. I brought a 250 cover for my 500, the top two holes line up the bottom two don't.
