In SoCal 99.9fm, broadcasting from the Inland Empire, Monday - Friday about 5:00am and 6:00am plays a recording of John Wayne reciting the 'Pledge of Allegiance' followed by a band playing the National Anthem.
Call me wierd but the first few times I heard it I got a little choked up and teary eyed.
How Hollywood has changed.

99.9 is an IE station - based in San Bernardino. Its not in LA, so Hollyweird has no effect - same lib asshol3s as always.
But good to hear, nonetheless!

At Speedway a few weeks ago, the person to sing the anthem didnt show....
Instead the whole stadium sang it......
It started pretty weak, but gained stregnth as it went along.
It too, choke me up a ilttle.
I told the announcer it should be made a permanate thing...
I doubt it will.....

I was actually referencing John Wayne.
There was a time when Hollywood was patriotic.
Hope, Crosby, Heston, Sinatra, 'The Duke' on and on.
Now we have a bunch of lefty, pinko, fags running it.
I challenge you guys to listen to it and see if you don't get a little choked up.

If you guys like that, check out sagebrushpatriot.com. I don't now how to post up the links, but that's the address. Pretty good piece called America, Why I Love Her, recited by John Wayne, written by Robert Mitchums brother. Pretty good.
