I lost my grandfather back in 1981, my dad back in 1991, my mom in 1996 only 6 days after my son was born, and my grandmother just 8 months ago. My grandparents on my dads side went when i was very young. My uncle ( dads bro) and aunt are still alive, but i havnt been in touch with them in 12 yrs.....Im in Texas and he is in Ohio and my family has always been really bad about communication because we always think they'll be a "tomorrow", and you know how time just seems to fly by. Well, I just found out that my uncle was diagnosed with diabetes some time back, and actually had to have a leg removed back in January....and then after that he was diagnosed with skin cancer on his shoulder...and last weekend the left side of his face drooped and he couldnt move his left arm. As it turns out he now has 3 brain tumors.......he is going into surgery on Wednesday to have one tumor removed and the other two that they cant remove they are going to try to shrink. I know it doesnt sound good at all, but please keep him in your prayers.

Kind of weird because last week I was telling my son about the time my uncle saved my life. I was 18 back in 1982 and had jumped into a pool and even though I was an excellent swimmer I sucked in a lung full of water and was going under when I hear my uncle say "I got him". He jumped in and pulled me out. I remember he had to "cannonball" it because he has always been large, 350+ lbs.........That was 26 years ago. Now I'm 44 and I sure wish I could return the favor. Like I said, it doesnt look to promising for him so say a prayer or two for him. Thanks.

Sorry to hear, we just lost the father in-law 2 months ago.
Life is like a box of chocolates, you don’t always know what the next brings.
A prayer from down-under

Lost my father back in June, had not spoke with him in years; we were never that close, but I still always thought we would have more time to make up for that. Seems life just gets in the way sometimes, still tears me up to think he never meet his grand babies!!!!!!
