I never heard of these let alone had them, so I went and purchased a pair. I didn't know how the worked or anything about them, but now that I do, I love them. I used them on a couple different bikes for the grips, very cool. You just wrap the wire around the grips, grip the two wire ends, then pull the twisting apparatus on the end of the pliers. In a second the wire is neatly and tightly twisted around, then you cut the excess wire off, tuck the twisted end, done. Got mine from Rockymountainatv.com and they came with 100 feet of wire, which is enough to do 1000 grips.

I wont safety wire stuff without them.... you can pickup a pair cheap from your local harbor freight or Northern tool store....

Use the same ones...they're awesome! And that spool of wire lasts forever!

I just use needle nose pliers and 22 gauge wire I buy cheap from Hobby Lobby. Plus I found that copper gasket spray makes for an excellent grip glue.

I pour rubbing alcohol into the grips, let them dry alittle, then slip them on. Now I safety wire them, and viola, on like donkey kong.

Brit throws alcohol down his throat, goes out to the shed... looks at the grips..looks at the bike... throws more alcohol down the throat and goes back into the house.

Shoe goo and safety wire baybee (and lots of beer while doin it)

Safety wired a lot of M60 machine guns and 50 cals.
