just for kicks my son and I popped into the local stealership....Mr. Motorcycle....to check prices on some Bel Ray filter oil and some chain lube........all filter oils are now 12.95 - 13.95 per quart and the chain lubes were all 12.95 a can !!!!! I cant believe riders actually buy this shit there !! The last time I actually got chain lube there it was still 5.95 a can......and this was 2 yrs ago.

I walked out empty handed and will never go back.

Rocky Mountain MC from now on. :D

Its a bottle you fill with oil, then dump it into your bike with the hose.

Bascially a funnel.

Billy who?

I see inflation has hit home.

For the pasted two years I get a new Amsoil price list, about 3-6 months. Some items change others do not. I think chain lube runs about $8.50? for 16oz can.

I've had a couple of customers stop using Motul cause there charging $14 a qt. vs Amsoil's MC oil $9.25

Same Billy who brought you these gynecological items. Guy's a freaking genius. The future's in over-priced injection-molded plastics, son.

the fill bottle actually worked good on my 426 where getting a regular oil bottle was a challenge.. Trying to get a quart size oil bottle to dump enough into a hole up between the headstay and gas tank was a challenge.. yes i fell for the $20 ketchup bottle but it does work and works well.. You just dump in your measured amount then insert tube and turn on valve easy and clean.. :D

Interesting because I basically made my own. I bought the Honda oil that came in a graduated bottle with a pointed tip. I put a short length of clear tubing over the end, zip tied it on, and use the pointy cap from the bottle on the end of the tubing. I have used the bottle a few times, most of the time I use a small funnel and just tweak it to fit the fill hole. On the Billy who funels, the xr650r guys use them for draining oil. It is especially usefull when you have a aftermarket skid plate because the drain plug is on the side of the engine just above the frame rail, and oil always ends up draining onto and under the skid plate.
