I've seen one run backwards cause the timing was off but.....

Sure enough the wifes quad tried to start but died. Changed the plug, nothing, checked spark, good. Ok I guess I got sometime pluged in the carb after changing the pilot jet. Take it off, for kicks and grins, I turn the motor over to look at the piston skirt. Call it habit from 500 ownership. There's no reed valve on this motor. Crank it a little more and shes running. I'm like WTF. I can't control the throttle cause its on the work bench and the motors running away. Turned it off. Start it again same thing. :?: Do it one more time, this time shutting it off it back fires a little. Ever see a fame come out from under the piston.  Try to start it again nothing. Ok cool.
Lastnight there was a small pool of carb cleaner at the piston skirt so I guess it finally seeped passed and was laying on the bottom. Put the carb on, runs great.

I just had to get this one out.
