Foot Brake Peddle

Post by xr680r »

What years will the main brake peddle pivot bolt work for the 95' I have and would anyone happen to have one I can buy off of them? I need a throttle assembly (whole thing with cable), bottom motor mount bolt, head stay brackets, coil and radiator hoses also. If I can get it off the group instead off ebay it may get the bike together sooner.
Jay and I worked on the bike today and got to the point of finding the ton of little things that are missing to get the package together.

need list so far:

coil
Throttle assembly
1-1/8" scotts bar mount
radiator hoses
head stay
bottom engine bolt
chain roller
brake peddle pivot bolt
clutch cable
kill switch
air filter cage
side cover o-ring (gasket)
Exhaust rubber frame stay

Thanks, I'll do that.
Jay was going to drop buy with a list and money as it is for gaskets and stuff for the 85. We are getting real close on sorting out what I need. I am looking to save a little money and get some used stuff and then buy what I can't get new from you. I am trying to figure out the best way to put fasst bars on this bike right now. I have a Scotts but, has stock bar clamp so, I have to change that out but, Jay was talking me into these:

I have 2 pair of rox risers and love them. I have a pair that go from 7/8 at the triple to 7/8 or inch 1/8 at the bar.
Got them new from Rox for $79

I have the above items from mine, possibly less the throttle assy. LMK.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...
