Tox said she now wants a quad (used), requirements are under 2k, relaible, electric start, four stroke and easy to ride. It has to be able to handle some dunes but haul ass fast things ain't gonna work.

What do you guys recommend as I dont know shit about quads

You could get a Yamaha Warrior, or any of the newer 4 stroke quads although they are big bucks and pretty fast.

Banshee is the only way to go.

Not for a wifey Bob if she gets something it has to work everytime she goes out with minimal maintenance and is user friendly e start, reverse, lights blah blah blah and if Brit doesn't ride it he won't need another one and it will last forever if he doesn't work on it. I say a Honda TRX250ex the perfect wifey mobile.

You looking for an auto or something with a clutch? Warrior, 300ex, and older 250x's do have a clutch. I think the newer 250ex's are auto. The thing I hate about the newer electric starts are they start by battery or not at all. You let it die and you better have jumpers or a good place to get one rollin if you got a clutch. Some of the older ones have a kicker too, or a pull rope maybe. I will agree with Mike on the 250ex though for a woman. They have auto trans, lights, e start, and no chain to break. should last forever or until a Honn jumps on it and breaks somethin. haha

She had a DR350 before so shes cool with a clutch.

My 400 ex is electric or without. It is a pain in the ass to roll off too. You have to have a pretty good grade and good traction in a higher gear. It has the 440 big bore kit though so a stock one may be easier. I bet my quad would be a peice o shit to try to kick though too.

The EX has an what they call a sport clutch very cool either way.

My wife rides my 400 but rarely has any need for gears 2-5. Haha

No they are not.

1- 400ex i dont know much about this machine but im sure its a decent choice

2- 300ex my freind had one and was damn good machine for what it was. had electric start and kickstart, reverse, and plenty of power for a girl. only drawback is, if i fecall it seems like they were aircooled but i cant remember for sure.

3- stock banshee. good machines and reliable as anything else out there if you leave it stock. alot of chics ride these at the dunes and are a good choice. plus theres about 1,000,000 aftermarket ways to upgrade them

400ex is probly a new and better version of the 300ex, which was a damn good machine from what i seen. used stock banshee can be found for $2000 with no problem. whatever you buy, make sure its bone stock and some punk kid hasnt started to tinker with the motor

honestly i would go with the banshee i think for 2 reasons

1- for a qaud, its a bitchin machine

2- YOU get a bitchen machine rather than some pile o' shit 4stroke in the event she kicks your ass out...if you keep the title on your name

Banshees really rip. I had an 01 at one time. It was Bad Ass.

I found a 2007 TRX250 for sale in victorville for $2500 apparently its bone stock and his wifeys ridden it 4 times.
