We need to get away from burning carbon, thats just a way of producing more.

I know what you are saying but my point is we need to reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere not just stay level, we are heading for some serious trouble if we keep doing what we are doing.

Bah global warming is a crock. Look that the cycle of the planet for the last 10million years. It warms, cools, warms, then cools again and keeps doing that. Yeah we may be helping it a little but I don't think as much as everyone thinks we are. The EPA is the next Nazi regime if you ask me.

If you think its a crock you have your head int the sand larry.

Yes the world cools and warms and most of the massive events in history are linked to massive amounts of carbon being put into the atmosphere either by volcanos or us. The planet will always fix itself its just a matter of weather we can still inhabit while its resetting.

X2

Our recorded "history" of the world is about 0.000001% of all its history.

Their has been times of Molton Rock covering the earth, their have been Ice Ages too..... long before any human "influenced" climate change.

The sun itself is the biggest variable, and we have no control over that.

I'm all for using energy wisely and efficently... but it has nothing to do with climate change.

1 volcanic eruption influnces the make-up of our atsmosphere more than all the cars put together....

We are but a fly on a elephants ass...

For the life of me, I don't get why YOU, of all people, buy into the Global Warming load of BS. Otherwise, you seem pretty good at seeing through the crap.

I aint buying into it its a fact plain and simple, anyone who thinks that burning billions upon billions of tons of carbon does nothing is stupid.

I am by no means a greenie in fact im probably one of the worst abusers, I just have common sense and know that carbon that was once buried that is now in the atmosphere has an effect.

Yeah, lubing your chain has an effect on your horsepower output too, but in the big picture, it doesn't make a damned bit of difference.

Ok WTF do you think I should be doing?? I sure as hell aint gonna become a greenie hippie piece of shit.

I stated a fact plain and simple, we are raising c02 levels higher than ever in recorded history (yes bob I know about volcanoes and if you look at ancient history through digs etc you can actually see massive amounts of carbon from millions of years ago that caused a huge climate change) if you cannot see or understand that we have had an effect you are blind.

I am not whining or moaning in the slightest if we had not had the industrial revolution we would not be where we are today, its been a long time since the old coal mills and we are still doing the same old shit. IMO its time for a change and if we start implementing it now I dont think what we have done will be an issue.

Crude is not going to last forever and by a lot of studies we reached the max output in 2006 and are now pumping from dwindling supplies.

Its gonna get really bad when china fires up all the brown coal plants, if they are let to their own devices asia is gonna look like london and manchester 100 years ago.

IMO nuclear is the way to go, run everything on electic powered by clean nuke plants then just figure out a way to blast all the left over rods into space and we are cool untill they develop a cheap and effiecient hydrogen fuel cell.

I still can't believe people don't think we have effected anything,

And no im not whining, your the one famous for that 84cr500fuker.
