Thermite .....This is thermite at Glamis, we had nothing to do with this, just happened to take a picture.

Not that we would do anything like this........we would never partisapate in any dangerous thrill seeking.

So what are saying? I stopped reading that book after a minute because all I want to know is, are you going on the Pismo ride, and are you blowing shit up?

WE bought our pass months ago....we should be there. I am no longer allowed to blow things up, the law said so.

Tannerite needs to be shot or use a blasting cap. I love that stuff! Wait this is the tall story section.......I would never use that stuff, I will not bring anything dangrous to Pismo...... I won't bring any blasting caps if anyone brings Tannerite, I won't bring any just in case.... I don't even know what Tannerite is...

Things that I will not have at Pismo:
Thermite
Creamora in five gallon buckets
two mile rocket
Roman Candle
15 pound bar of Magnezium

As Jay says everything that is brought up here in this thread can be found easly on the net. The more leagle stuff would be found at Skylighter.com and they sell to the public all kinds of stuff most would think could not be bought.
Last Pismo trip there was a SoBe quarter full in the fire when the ranger showed up...all of us standing around the fire waiting.....not good but it was a nice ranger. SoBe's work sometimes and sometimes NOT the way you want and kids around the fire.......I think it always better to have bigger, much bigger but, on the sand hill away from camp, away from poeple. More campers can enjoy the light or sound show in safety and we all know bigger is better. If it isn't in anyones camp then it must belong to the state? It sure isn't mine......I really like big and loud but, most of the mom's like safe so, big and loud away from camp should make everyone happy
Jay did you get to Arkansas this year?

If someone brings tannerite I will make sure it goes off safely! That stuff rocks! The concussion is out of this world. Feals like C4....not that I have ever been around C4 when it went off.....

Is it me or did the formulation to tannerite change? the requirements used to be high velocity rounds were the only thing that could detonate. Now, any round can.. ? Not that I care - still impressive no matter what. You ever mess around with his "survival" rockets?

As far as I know only a high velocity round can and we have had 7.62X39 not light it off before but, I have been told that electric #8 blasting caps set it off so I would love to try this...can't be blasting guns at some places.

We have lunched class "K" sorbitol rockets, they breach the speed of sound below sea level. (Salton Sea) The rocket engines were 17" long and two pounds. A little different then these but, close...

When this stuff goes wrong, wow, I have had it go wrong in my back side yard testing it and it was a very bad trip to court....neibour didn't like me having to buy them new window.
