Sweet barn find!

So, I'm on vacation for 2 months and bored, so I've been looking for projects. I bought this today---- 1970 Yamaha AT1 Enduro. 4k original miles, clean street title, has been in a barn since 1980. (The gas was drained first thank God)
It came with a brand new set of rubber, and is in remarkably good shape. It cost me exactly $100! I cleaned the ignition, drained and bypassed the oil injection and kicked her over and it started on the 3rd kick! This will be a fun bar hopper.

I have a 71 (I think) sitting in the shed right now. It was my fathers and I rode the piss out of it at camp when I was is my early teens. I ended up breaking all but 5 or 6 spokes out of the rear wheel jumping it. I found another wheel on ebay a year ago and have never put it back together.

My oil injection always worked.

That was my first bike, only '71 and yellow, and it was all tricked out with a ct1 175 jug and piston
that bike was fun as hell.

I had one of those old bikes was cool in 1978 - very cool..

Had a DT 175 Yamaha and a DT250 (had two spark plug holes) and a SUKI 400 single Enduro (TS 400) - all were cool bikes back in the day.

Glad you found a vintage bike

reminds me of yesteryear - a long long time ago
