Gimme your suggestions or likes/dislikes of your current bucket.

I've always worn some type of Bell.

i have always liked HJC. They fit my melon comfortably and are durable. And priced very reasonable as well.

To me there are three helmets worth a damn. Arai, Shoei, and Bell. Arai cost to much nowadays though, so does Shoei, and Bell does too if you pay retail. Fortunetly there is www.thebellstore.com , where you can get a moto7R for a hundred and fifty bucks. And soon the moto8 will be that price. I just ordered a new one from them the other day, got it quick and it is nice. The moto7r and 8r is a Carbon/Kevlar/Fiberglass composite shell. It's gonna cost you over 300 bucks for that kind of shell from any other manafacturer, and over 500 from Arai.

I have a KBC that has answer graphics on it. it was around $100 and is DOT and SNELL.
Super light, comfy and had that neato wicking material that reduces the sweaty asshole look when you remove it.
MFDB has one too with different graphics and he seems to like it.

Fixed it.

Or so I hear because the Chiness QA is very questionable. The two above are made in Japan. Way higher QA standards.

Yeah I have a HJC but that is because I didn't know the above back then.

Sold.....thanks!

Bell Moto7R coming to me. Also bought some new boots and jersey/pant/glove combo.
All of my old stuff was worthless, so time to upgrade.

I guess I should take it as a sign of aging and drinking too much beer, but I had to buy smaller cheek inserts for my Moto7R.

Fock....I drink lite beer, that should result in weight loss no?

The only Lids I will use for the street and dirt are Shark. Nothing else comes close period. Strongest lightest lids on the market, great price point and fit like a glove.

For the dirt i use the Shark SXR. This is the description: Shell made from multi-directional fibers
Multi-element, internal shock-absorbers with differentiated density
Airflow directed by integrated ducts and “Venturi” deflectors
Multi-point ventilation
Fully removable and washable interior in Coolmax® fabric
Ergonomic cheek pads in 3D foam
Meets or exceeds D.O.T. and ECE 22-05 standards

put simply it is light as feather, fits like a glove and can take a beating.

For the street I use the Shark RSR2 lid. Used by Moto Gp and world super bike.

Has crumple zones like a car to cusion impact. thickest visor on the market that you can fold over on it self and will not break. removeble liner. So sick. I use the Migel duhemel white and black.

By far the best thing going. I have used Bell Arai and KBC which are all good and each to their own, but for my money I'll spend it where it's going to best used and my head is nothing to skimp on. Check um out buy one love it and use it.

I received a Shoei V-Moto as a gift. Beautiful helmet and a great fit but there's not enough f'ing room for my goggles. I forked out around $65 for some Scott Hi-Voltage goggles and they still don't fit! :cussing:

I'm really happy with my Bell SC. Yeah, it's cheap... so is my head. :D

My L Bell fits more comfortably than my identically sized Shoei RF-1000.
