Seats

I never really appreciated my steely seat till I got my AF.

I just talked to Andy at Guts racing and he gave me some good ideas.
The std foam mimicks the stock shape.
However the tall foam is 1/4" wider then tapers. So as you cut it down it gets wider. Cut the foam with an electric carving knife.

Once I get my suspension dialed in the next thing I'm going to do is the seat and cut it for me.

If anyone wants to try first I'd love to here the feedback.

I've done that quite a few times but, not on my conversion it works fine and the cover still works.

Are you saying you reused the stock cover?

I saw a post on thumpertalk about some guy who removed the stock cover and trilled a shitload of 1/4" holes in the foam, he said it softened it up a lot.

Im leaving mine hard, I sit down way to much anyway and it makes me stand :D

I've taken an inch off a seat and reused the cover because the seat foam is shorter so when you fold the cover over the pan your stapling the cover where it didn't have any holes and I like the OEM covers.
