THE AIR BOX THOUGHT

JUST A THOUGHT ON THE HOLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE AIR BOX WHERE THE REAR MUDFLAP IS.I SEE THAT ALOT OF THE ROOST AND MOST OF THE DIRT IS ON THE AIR FILTER THERE ARROUND THE BOTTOM WHERE THE HOLE IS.HAS ANYONE SEALED THIS OFF, BUT STILL LEFT A HOLE THERE FOR WATER.THEN ONCE SEALED OFF USE THOSE EXTRA LITTLE AIR HOLE FITTINGS THAT CAN GO IN THE SIDE OF THE AIRBOX MAYBE OR I DONT NO JUST AN IDEA .I MIGHT HAVE HAD A BRAIN STRAIN

My WR used to have a plastic tube over that hole that would catch anything that came out. :D Pop the tube off clean it out and stick it back on.. Mine was constantly full of sand and filter oil

just a piece of clear vinyle that was sealed on one end and had a spring clamp on the other

sponge good idea,do any of you guys that ride the dunes do that or something like that? would it affect any air flow i dont no?

I don't think its enough to block air flow. I just put a piece of black tape on it. aka black duct tape. Straight out of the 1001 use's book. :lol:

3rd to 5th on the wr.. hell i used nothing but 4th and 5th on the wr cuz i coudlnt keep up... 5th gear pinned and my other 2 wheeled riders were still pullin on me.. thats when i sold da bitch and bought me a 500.. Now they cant shake me :P

Have you guys ever seen those little black rubber drip pocket tubes on the bottom of the air filter box in diesel trucks/transports? There flat at the end with a slit so you can remove debris like leaves and dirt. I think they would do the trick.
