Fuse Gets Dirty With Crusty's Dirt Demons
- press release -

New Series Featuring The Infamous Crusty Demons Of Dirt Premieres July 10

New York (July 3, 2007) – fuse, the national music television network, has announced that Crusty’s Dirt Demons will premiere July 10 at 11pm ET. Featuring the Crusty Demons of Dirt, the founders of freestyle motocross, this half-hour, eight episode series will provide viewers with rip-roaring moto-cross action as the world’s most aggressive up-and-coming riders compete to be the next Crusty Demon.

Crusty’s Dirt Demons follows the Crusty Demons of Dirt as they invite a select few of the world’s top riders to The Crusty Compound to find the newest member of their team. These lucky contestants are put to test physically and psychologically to see who has what it takes to become a Crusty Demon of Dirt.

“Crusty’s Dirt Demons features great characters and compelling stories, and the stunts and action are incredible to watch,” said Andy Meyer, director of programming development and original series. “It is interesting to explore what motivates these competitors as the drama and excitement unfold and we are proud to make the show available to fuse viewers.”

Shot at The Crusty Compound, a converted cattle ranch in the desert outside Los Angeles, the series features the founders of freestyle moto-cross along with a fraternity of the best riders in the world including Mike Metzger, Seth Enslow, Mad Mike Jones, Trigger Gumm, Robbie “Maddo” Madison, Larry Linkogle, as well as the larger than life character “Bubba”.

Throughout the series, each competitor participates in a series of challenges while the Crusty Demons of Dirt judge them on mental and physical strength, innovativeness, bravery, pain threshold, and raw talent. At the end of the competition, The Crusty Demons of Dirt choose one rider to join their exclusive clan.

Crusty’s Dirt Demons is produced by Original Media LLC, producers of the hit series Miami Ink on TLC.

*The hillclimb segment is the last show for each of the series that we did.

Watched the first one the other night, dudes are loose. I lived in Medford OR when Highland was a little grom and rode the trails with him when he was 12 or so. Boy has that guy changed. He could barely start his 250 and couldn;t touch the ground. Now he's 6'4" and pretty large. The next one should have the hillclimbing from what I got.

Cool. That Tyler or Taylor is in this one. It will be interesting to see how he does. So far it doesn't seem like he has the drive for the show.

Ohh man that Taylor is such a pud. When I talked to him about the show he said the hill climb bikes were gnarly. He got booted before you all even did that event.

They all got to ride. They edited the show some how to show those guys getting kicked out before. Dana Nicholson wanted me to let Pastor ride my 700 KTM on his last ride to try and win the contest with a little advantage over the 500, negative on that! I let Ronnie Renner ride it instead for the hell of it to see how well he would do. He was on the pilot jet the whole time! I figured if he crashes the thing at least he has some Factory support to replace some of the parts. All in all it was alot of fun to do the show and intoduce those guys to something new. There was alot of stuff going on out at the compound that probably should be left out in the hills, but it would be way sweet if they had a uncut version to pick up. Thanks to Stoffers and Anderstone for all the help with setting the guys up with a couple of AF's.
