have any of you guys used the KX high (its a lot higher than all the rest)?
has anyone used the protaper EVO bars? I'm gonna be buying some bar tomorrow probably.
I was thinking about the woods high, looks very similar to the cr high, but longer strait tubes for brush guards and other accessories.

I have the Pastrana FMX's on mine. I'm really happy with the bend and height, but I need to put them a little further forward so I bought a set of these:

I should have them on the bike in a couple weeks, and I'll report back with findings.

Definitely, I'm going riding again over Memorial day weekend in Pittsburgh with some friends, I should have 'em on the bike by then.

Just from looking at the dimensions, they appear to accomplish the approximate same geometry as a set of pivoting Rox Risers rotated forward, however there's no danger of them being smacked out of adjustment in the event of a big wreck. Since I'm accident prone, I figure it was worth a try. :D

question for yall. got my cr-high bars from pro taper. and boy are they sweet. question i love the bend and everything but they are a britincali hair longer than my henry reeds. can you cut off the ends? like .5 of an inch on either side. i am a little guys so i have narrow shoulders. this is why i hate the carmichel bend. i was looking at them and dont see a problem but i thought i would ask first. measure twice cut once. lol

You can cut them. I have some that are cut a quarter inch on each side. The Protaper Countour cr high bars are marked on the ends for easy cutting.

I remember reading years back you do push-ups and move your hands in and out until it feels most comfortable. That's the spacing you should use for your bars, and you cut them to size. I am on the left-side of the size distribution curve so I cut 1/2" of the ends.
