this weekend has been so fun i started tearing apart both bikes and started to mock up gen2 frame. removed front mounts and cut out Y. cut out fron mount area for 7/8 dowel for front mount. thoese are done and just need to be welded. engine alighnment doog with spacers and will pick up some round stock for coil mount just above cyl head just to the front. Im modifying Y to accomadate stock placement for radiators. I moved up the Y about 1" and installed solid rectangle stock for the down tubes to slide up into Y. Ill keep you posted. Im getting things cleaned up and the head stay is done, what do you guys recommend for gearing, im riding mainly mx tracks at int level? I was thinking of trying 14/49?

14/49 sounds good, its a pretty geood all around gearing. For MX only, you could probably go a little lower like 14/51 or 14/53.

Were almost done I got the bike together complete with pics thru out the process and im just waiting for my suspension to get back, Im in the market for premix and trans oil. it's been along time since i ran a 2 stroke so any advice on brands, ratio's per 5gal and type of trans oil would be appreciated, i getting the pic's ready to post but i was wondering what size is best for viewing? I think my first were a tad too large. Thanks

most run maxima 927 @ 32:1, pretty safe. I run a motorcycle clutch safe specific 10w40 in the trans.
