So the carb i got has a big problem the brass insert that hold the main jet is F***ed up majorly its not just stripped but the the bottom (side closest ot bowl) is missing about 1/32" of metal and ideas on fixing it?

Well, it sounds like it's junk basically. But, you could try gluing the main in or maybe using some JB Weld to make it work. Maybe even try threading the JB welded area with a tap I guess. Sorry to hear about the trouble, sounds like maybe someone tried to tighten the main jet to much and stripped it.

yea well good news is the jets in bad news is that brass insert on top of the threaded part is gone

Is that a piece that can be ordered from Sudco? I'm looking at the inside of my PWK 38 A/S right now, and the place where the main and slow jets thread in has a couple screws going into it, and looks to be removeable. It looks like you'd need a special torx bit with a hole in the middle of it to do so.

That nozzle comes out just like a Mikuni carb. Find something the right size a tap it out. It comes out the top and the main jet is what holds it in. It may even have some kind of # stamped on it.

Looking on sudco's fiche i cant ifnd that part listed seperatley if any of you guys know a part number or where to get one id really appreciate it
