I'm a 1099 contractor too. I don't owe anything this year, but it is getting harder to make money with expenses being outrageous.

ya, I didn't file quarterly, didn't pay anything in and didn't have enough write offs. But I only have to pay $2700 in. things could be worse...
this year I started a C Corp which will pay for everything that can even remotely be called a business expense, then I will pay myself a small salary and only pay taxes on that... maybe I will make EIC!
Its sad when taxes are such a problem, your goal is to make less (on paper)

however if i do that i wont be able to buy that mikuni from the clan for a bit longer hmmmmmm 97 roller or mikuni carb... tough decision..

Well I have left messages and emails since Jay called me yesterday wanting to buy it. So I wouldnt recommend anyone hold their breath. The story is the bike was given to him as collateral and before he got the motor the kid split. So im gonna be straight up with the kid and tell him im not wasting my time looking at it till I have the VIN and if the bikes dirty, hes going to have problems...
