Bottom Shock Mount Bolt (Possible dumb question)

Post by madmcnish »

Hi guys,
Whilst washing the bike after ridin my local track on Sunday, I noticed there is no nut on the bottom shock mounting bolt.
All the other linkage bolts have a nut.
All the pictures in the honda manual are taken from the RHS of the bike and only show the bolt head, not the other side.
I've looked at the exploded view in the Honda parts microfiche and I can't see a nut for the bottom shock mounting bolt.
There doesn't seem to be enough thread on the bolt for a nut and the bolt doesn't appear to have sheared.
Should there be a nut or am I a NUT-TER?!!!
Cheers.

Thanks lewisclan,
That's what it looked like on the exploded microfiche parts diagram, but I wasn't sure.
I've not had the bike for too long and am thankful for the help from guys like you who have years of experience with these bikes.
Cheers!
