i have done some gnarly crosswind landings and that one was brutal.. i wonder what those things are rated for as far as crosswind landings go.. i know in the lil cessnas i was flying it was like a 17kt max

It looked like fairly normal, able to land crosswind until that large gust that pushed it off the runway. Either way I would've been crapping my pants, at least he gave it throttle when required. :D

I was in a MD80 from San Jose to the OC. Santa Ana winds that day. I finished my drink pretty fast realising we were coming in sideways from the ocean.

Normal my friend lets me drive home, not this time, "you drive I'm still cleaning up". It was the first flight after building them for a couple of years, and that only made it worse.

Try to find that vid of a guy in a B52 doing low alt flyovers in a mountain range, god damn he did some great stuff with that thing until he ended up dead.....

That B52 at full song sounds incredible, being that close to the ground. It sucks he took several lives with him when he ran out of talent, though.
