Sony Receiver Woes

This is the second Sony stereo receiver to do this to me. My receiver is hooked up to my computer so I often plug headphones into it when I play games, watch porn, etc. So when I unplug the headphones the receiver is supposed to make a "click" and then power the speakers back up well it doesn't it just hangs and now I can only get audio out of it through its headphone jack. Is there a simple fix for this? This is the last Sony receiver I'll ever buy.

I'm gonna tear it apart tomorrow to see if I can figure something out, otherwise I'm going to Bestbuy.

im going with a short/damage in the headphone jack, take it out and bypass it and see if that works, if it does replace it and you should be good to go

Sony hasn't made any good audio stuff since they quit making the ES series.
