one of my best friends, John Pedro, wrecked bad at pismo last saturday, i just found out today, i hadnt been able to get ahold of him all week so i was starting to wonder. he was running down a dune and hit a burm, a few of his friends on bikes made it across but he has a big heavy raptor and it caught him, sent him rolling downthe hill then the quad caught up with him and hti him, it crushed his pelvis, messed up a vertebrea in his neck and broke some ribs, he wes mediflighted to arroyo grande where they decided he needed more intensive care and medi flighted him to stanford. sunday he had his hips replaced and a coupel of other surgerys from what i understand, he will need more in the weeks to come. God let him stay awhile longer and were all thankfull for that but saying it sucks is an understatement. i talked to hima bit on the phone today and hes pretty up in spirits.. medicated to all hell but in a good mind set, i and a couple of other friends are leaving at 3 from work tommarow to go see him, if ya can.. throw a prayer in for his recovery and keep a true rider in your thoughts.
remember to make sure the people close to you know how much you care about them, it could easily be a funeral that im going to tommarow. keep it safe guys

I hate hearing stuff like this. There's enough to remind me of mortality everyday, with this. Thoughts out to your friend.

thanks guys, LOL Bob, actually we went to see him last night in stanford and hes in good spirits, he was jokin and messin around like normal, we were talking about him not bieng stock anymore and wondering why they used plastic hips when billet looks way better

. i told him he was gay for having smaller feet than me because i wanted his boots

his bike made it through without a scratch for the most part.. it had been dubbed the widomaker a few weeks ago when he put the all black race cut plastics on it.. the bastard almost lived up to its name.
he said the worst part was the fact that on the ride to the chopper they DRILLED holes in his legs

to put a metal bar in place that held his hips in position untill the surgery.. fuckin ouch!!!!!!!!!! he wasnt all the way numbed up yet either.. i cant even imagine that kind of thing, he said the sound was the worst thing ever.
