Al Bakers xr's only is where I got the wide tranny for my 600 but I am not sure if they make them for cr's...as i recall it was about 800.00 after labor. that was back in 98 when everyone was building baja bikes out of 600's. So I dont think that $650 is that bad of deal. on a cr500 you can install it yourself. on my xr wow I wasnt even gonna attempt it, I was happy to pay to have it installed.

that guys ebay ad is misleading, he makes it sound like all 5 gears will have different ratios. that kit does not change all 5 gear ratios. it only changes 3. probly 3rd-5th is my assumtion. its looks like a killer setup though for desert racing
