Pipe Springs Question

On my 98' Conversion I have 2 springs from the 250 pipe. The PC pipe I bought has places for 4 springs. The 500 has a 2 hole tab that mounts under a bolt that goes into the flange and looks like from the diagrams, that the tab is in the bottom position of the flange.

Soooo......what would you guys do for mounting the pipe?

A) Use the 2 springs, attaching both to the bottom of the pipe?

B) Buy 2 more springs and use the top and bottom mounts?

C) Put 1 on top and 1 on bottom?

Will be using plenty of Anti Spooge High Temp RTV as well.

Thanks and I'll hang up and listen

I vote "B"

Even though my pipe is only held on with two, one on top one on bottom. Mine is also missing the bottom two hole holder. So one of my springs starts on the top and kinda twists to the bottom hook on the pipe. Holds very well and I get no splooge.

Well after all the anti spooge discussions, I have become concerned that after I get my bike built, I may take a picture of it and would not want spooge on display.
