I'm looking to the get cylinder re-plated on my 250 and I'm throwing around the idea of doing one of my 500 cylinders that is on the last bore. Anyone have any recommendations for me? Does GSS or Loomis do any plating or have someone specific that they work with?

I've heard a lot about NI-COM being better than nikasil if your going to have one re-done. My 250 cylinder was on the verge of the service limit the last time that I rebuilt it so I'm sending it some where for sure. The 500 has about 30 hrs on it but I'm curious how soon I should send it off to avoid it being too worn to coat. Also who would you recommend for porting on the 250 cylinder?

A guy here in Az might be a good choice, his name is Jerry Hall, and he knows alot about that shit. Also LA SLeeve might be a good place to call. That's all I can suggest, but if either Loomis or GSS do that stuff, you can be sure it would be done right.

I've heard of Jerry Hall think he's been mentioned on the other site. I just figured I would support GSS or Loomis first since they support and use this board. I'll look up jerry hall too and what he's about.
