Just lie to the dmv, see what happens

Last summer I got a little trailer from my buddy. It was purchased by him in 01 from Home Depot, but never assmbled or registered. So when I got it I took it to the mvd(dmv in Az.) for registration. They inspected it and then said I needed to find the original receipt and title of origin. Months later my buddy sent the stuff but I thought the title didn't match the vin plus the title was never signed by anyone on the back, so they wanted me to get home depot to do that. Again the dmv told me I needed to contact the maker, jump through a hoop of fire etc.. My second temporary tag is about to expire tomarrow, so today I took it in to try again at registering it. It was a good slow day there and the stars were aligned just right. I forged the back of the title saying I was the original owner. I go to the inspection, the lady looks at the title, sees it is signed on the back, and tells me I don't need an inspection! :? So in I go to get the plates. The next lady looks at the title, and proceeds to hand me a plate with a permannant tag, and asks for 120 bucks. She gets all the stuff done, I write the check, and then she asks for the receipt! :x I tell her, I can't find that darn Home Depot receipt! She understand, saying how hard it is to keep track of all those Home Depot receipts, and woa laa, I am out the door with a plate for my trailer. :o I thought I would never get this thing licensed, but today was the right day. I buttered the lady up from the git go talking about christmas, her mother, how nice it would be if it snowed bla bla bla. But I walked a sketchy path, and was just able to get away with a forged document and at least two lies. The folks at the dmv are very good at spotting a lier, and would give Judge Judy a run for her money. It was a small victory for me, and I suggest anyone with a dmv issue, try the butter up method next time, it side tracks the employee, and takes them off auto pilot and turns them into a human being for a few minutes.

Man and some peeps think Cali is bad.

Well we'll see what story I come up with, with this new to me Accord.

So far I found out that I'm going to get riped off by six months registration cause it expired last may. I don't care about the extra $30, its the principle of not having use of it for that time.

To be Continued......

I got around that in NV by saying it was under repair and getting a temp reg sticker, then getting smog, then they waived the back registration and all it cost me was a $10 non-op back reg. I'm not sure about AZ, but its worth a try.
