big block ford announcement?

anybody know what this all about? ford used to have a 600hp-514ci crate motor but i see they dont offer it any more. aparently theres something new coming out. whats the word?

I don't know, but that gives me ideas. My Furd truck needs a new engine, and a slip in crate motor sounds juicy! Might go for 400HP crater, wonder if the intake is adaptable to my 90 rig with efi.

400hp is just a sunday cruiser. you need atleast 500-600 to be big dog in the hood. i dont see that 600hp engine any more, maybe thier updating it hell i dont know. i think it runs off straight pump gas also, it was less than 10:1 compression. the 600hp version was 460 based with aluminum heads and some big stroke crank. i think most of the other crate motors are based from 351W and 302 small blocks. you can also build your own with a short block and add what ever accesories you want. theres a few head and manifolds options. i think theres even a few different crank, piston and rod options
