The "Desert Locust" or grasshopper appears in arid parts of the American Southwest and is greatly feared because of its ability to reproduce rapidly and because of its skill at adapting to the harsh environment found in the various deserts which cover this area. Farmers especially dread this locust species since large swarms can strip vegetation from trees, plants, and crops for many miles.
Baskin-Robins too!
Even the Tiny " Stoffis Grasshopperis" is a feared species once it gets enough THC in its body, and has been known to consume 1/4 of its body weight in combo -burritos and fish tacos.

Heat in AZ? Come on March and April in the valley can be rather hot or it can be perfect..all depends on your luck. For me it doesn't bother me as I ride year round, in fact I prefer riding in the summer since I get up early and start riding at about 5:30 am. The wife loves it too since I'm home about 10-11am
I would imagine if it's hit or miss in the valley it may be the same in Prescott so if it is too cold it's a short ride to some blissful areas lower in the state.
Depending on my schedule I'd love to join in.
One thing I've always wanted to do is line up with a bunch of 500's and let er rip..no so much to race but just to hear em roar together like the good ole days. Maybe we can race for a beer

ATTENTION P/P:
Lets start getting serious about this ride, and finalize the dates and agenda...
Prescott Snowfall
Prescott Temps
March looks kinda chilly.... Even for me.

50-60 degrees is too cold for the Wookie?????? HAHAHA I have negative 5% body fat and I LOVE riding in the 50's. But I wear full gear and that helps keep me warm. Remember, if you are cold just put on another layer, or step up the pace slow poke!! If its too hot all you can do is puke and pass out, unless you wanna ride nekkid...
Also, if all goes well with the PD I might be in the Academy in Jun/Jul and that will eliminate my chances of going. I really want to make this ride however, lets make it sooner then later!!

I'll get on this in a day or two. As for dates, I'll finalize it then also. Wasted youth and I are gonna ride it in a week or so to mark and map the trails. It's very important to me that the trails selected are the best possible choices. I will not be caught planning a ride where folks go away saying they didn't absolutely love the experience. This ride will kick ass, beleive that.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!
