Getting ready to buy myself a Christmas gift, gonna be new complete exhaust for my conversion.
What should I get, FMF, Pro Circuit?? I live in Iowa so it will be trail and short MX.
Since I do not have mounts on my frame and have to fab them anyways, will I have to mod the pipes at all?

This is for my Gen 4 conversion....I didnt like the way the first exhaust came out... looked like a home made piece... Plus I hate the FMF Q, so I returned to the Turbine core model.
Heres the silencer, mounted with twin mounts. The upper one is the stock Gen 4 location. The lower one is made from old parts and a repositioned oem nut plate.
I combined two head pipes to make a clean detour around the subframe
I left the little tabs on temporarily to give you an idea of the orientation.
This exhaust looks way better!!
Once its all welded, OEM baby...

for what you are describing the FMF setup would be better. FMF will build more low end and pc will build more up top.
The trails are awesome with that low end grunt.

Its just a regular, 1990 - 2001 Steelie FMF CR500 silencer...
You have to modify it for this application. You can get them on ebay for $75.
