My Buddy Finally Bought a CR500, Now I Need Some Advice

So a friend of mine had been hunting for a Honda CR500R for months. Every time we found a Honda CR 500 for sale, it was either completely trashed or already sold.
Well he finally found a clean one and pulled the trigger. The bike is an absolute beast and probably one of the wildest two-strokes ever made. Now he’s asking me what the first things he should do after buying it maintenance, upgrades, things to check, etc.
For those of you who’ve owned a CR500, what’s the best advice you’d give a new owner?
