Hi All,
So after realising i was losing coolant through the weep hole on the water pump casing, i realised id need a water pump kit for my 96 500, so i fitted this and replaced the head gasket. Now the bike blows coolant almost immediately after starting, so no issues of boiling over. There is a lot of pressure in the rad. I am pretty sure i torqued the head bolts correctly, and all seemed to good with the pump install, but it never spewed coolant before?.
Is this likely to be something warped in the top end?.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.
Gus.
