I have an 87 CR with a gnarly pipe and boyesen Rad valve. Any suggestions on jetting or a good place to start?
Thanks

What carb and elevation are you running?

Thanks for the response. It's the stock Keihin carb and I'm only at 300ft above sea level.
Running power plus lubricant oil at 40:1.

Stock was the R1370n needle at 4th clip from top
Main 168
Pilot 58
Airscrew 1.5 turns out from bottom
Fmf used to package a jet chart with their fatty that said
175 main
55 pilot
1368 needle and clip at 2

Thanks Roostius. Would you recommend going with FMFs settings?

Likely. And that rand valve likes a little less pilot too

Sweet. Thank you for your help. I'll try the fmf settings and make changes as necessary. Thanks again!
While I have you here, any recommendations on a rear shock for the 87 or would you rebuild the stock? She's looking worse for wear.

Always loved my '88 shock which was luckily in excellent condition. I'd likely advise to run it

Question,
Going from sea level to 4000 ft elevation with the same jetting as above. Currently jetted for sea level at
172 main
58 pilot
Stock carb
What recommendations would you guys have for changes for altitude?
Thanks
