84 bottom end with liquid cooled top end

Post by 2legit2quit »

Any chance a 84 bottom end could have a later year top end bolt up to it? I'm trying to source an engine but the only one I can find at a decent price is a 84. I'm thinking of buying it up and swaping out the cylinder and head with later year parts from ebay. Yay or nay?
