Hot Rods assembled cranks

Any good? I remember there being an issue with them discussed on here years ago. No dice on finding the thread. The prices for a complete crank, main bearings, and all bottom end gaskets/seals is around $300 bucks, and the cranks alone run around 200. I would imagine the local shop (PR Racing) would be around 200 to rebuild my old crank, waiting to hear back for sure.
I just dont want to buy something sub-par.

Rebuild your stock crank with a Pro-X rod kit, do not use the Hotrods crank assembly unless you weld the crank cans to the crank wheels.
