Dug into my bag of tricks today Bored and counter bored the lower fork tubes so the Internals of 1987 CR500 fork will fit inside my 1983 tubes.
The one on the Left is off 1987 the one on the right is off my CR480.

CNC program

Made a spacer plate for under the cylinder so I can use a rod out of a CR500 there no more CR480 out there and the ones out there they want to much money for.

Added a spot for my decompression Valve for my cylinder head.

Kind of a busy day.

On hold for a little while the Family SUV took a crap so my money went into it.
But I put the forks back together.
With any luck I will be able to put more money into the 480 Next pay day.
